Stay Cool!

It's Rebekah here with you today sharing this adorable card made the even cuter Catch A Wave stamp set from Gerda Steiner!

This set is being released today which is just in time for summer crafting! Be sure to check out the Gerda Steiner Shop today to pick up this adorable, beach ready chick!

This card was super easy! The stamps work perfectly for a scene card! No masking needed! I simply stamped the image and colored! I drew in a rough line where I wanted the beach to end and the water to begin and used dots for texture and for a transition.

I added a glaze product to give his little glasses some shine and dimension! I used a cloud stencil and Distress Inks to create the fluffy beach clouds!

Fast, easy, fun and adorable! Is this new set on your wish list? It should be!

Seeing this card of yours MADE me buy this stamp set! My grandson is currently in California and I thought this would be perfect! His first time to the ocean/beach! Love this card.

WOW! I have to say you’ve blown me away with your coloring. First off, those sun glasses… I just love how you colored the glass section black then over laid white streaks to create the illusion of a reflection of the sun shinning into the cute ducks eyes. I didn’t fail to notice the white dots of his eyes either.

Then, Oh “WOW!” again, how you colored the water. Looks like you flicked upward your Copics to create the deep dark ocean wave rolling in and fading to the whiter crest as it hits and the shoreline.

Really impressive!

Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad today I took a peek.

I've used the Penguin Cake - 4x6 Clear Stamp - GSD799, to create the cake and penguins. I masked the two front penguins after stamping them on some Neenah Solar Crest card, and then stamped the cake and the middle penguin afterwards. I...
