Oops Magnetic Bookmark

October 06, 2015 3 Comments

Hi there,

it Tanja here today and I want to show you how to make a magnetic bookmark:

  • cut out a stitched banner using the partial die-cutting technique in order to get two banner shapes in one piece
  • score the double-banner in the middle
  • stamp the squirrel from Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall onto the front and the "Oops" sentiment and some leaves from the same set on the backside of the bookmark using Memento (Rich Cocoa)
  • color all the images with Delta Markers
  • laminate the whole bookmark and score it again
  • add magnets to the inside - by doing so, the bookmark will snap closed over the page

Here is a close-up of the inside:

Have a wonderful day.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yours,
