Drive to pick up mom, home to cook, eat, clean up, take mom home, Celebrate my Birthday. Most family moved away so it isn’t a big deal today.
Eventually we will facetime with my daughter and her family, then facetime with my husbands grandkids, great grandkids and daughter.

On Christmas day we prepare a different lunch, with cannelloni and stuffed chicken and torrons and neules ( Catalan desert). While we are eating, we discuss the gifts that Tió “has shit” (Catalan tradition). In the afternoon we go for a short walk around the village.

On Christmas day we spend it with family, eating, watching TV and sometimes going on a drive to see all of the lights and light shows that people have created in their front yards.
