Make a Sentiment into a Background Paper

October 15, 2015

Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Pumpkin Kitty stamp set. I love making my own backgrounds and often use little image stamps but thought I would mix it up and use a sentiment stamp.Check out the video for more:

I used Hero Arts Shadow Ink cubes to stamp the sentiments and then used some Wild Honey Distress Ink to add the yellow to the edges. I will share more about this card in a video soon but a little tip. When using cardstock mats you can die cut a shape out of the center (like the scalloped circle) to reduce cardstock consumption.

This little cat can be used for Thanksgiving as well so if you haven't picked it up yet it will certainly still be useful this year. But if you are in need of some Halloween stamps fast check out Gerda's Halloween digis
