Hot Cocoa

January 10, 2017

Hi there,

after this post you have seen all my creations with the wonderful images from the Gerda Steiner Designs December-January Digital-Stamp-Bundle. On this tag I used the sweet surprise image:

  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Winter Girl image which is available as part of the December-January Digital-Stamp-Bundle with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and texture to the rim and the pompon of the cap with white Liquid Applique
  • cut out the snowy scene from the Create a Smile Frosty Fun Kit from watercolor paper
  • color this background with watered-down Distress Inks (Gathered Twigs, Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Iced Spruce)
  • use a generous amount of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter over that snowy hill
  • adhere the sweet girl with foam tape
  • cut out a stitched circle from white glitter cardstock and mount the snowy landscape onto that circle
  • punch out a little star at the top of the circle and thread some natural twine through it - tie one strand into a little bow

I hope you got inspired.

Yours,
