Guest Designer | VIDEO | Go Wild! with a Masked Background

May 11, 2017

I'm delighted to be sharing another video featuring the Go Wild! stamp set and coordinating dies. I squealed when I saw that jeep and safari guy/park ranger/archeologist. There's just so much you can do with them and I can imagine so many cards by mixing and matching this set with other sets from Gerda Steiner Designs.

I stamped and die cut three giraffes and watercoloured all of the images with distress inks. Then I used a lot of masking paper to mask off and sponge the background, which includes the sky, sun, grass and dirt road.

All of the images were heat embossed, which is my favourite way to stamp watercoloured images. I flicked water droplets on the sponged background and sprayed shimmer mist on the sun to add visual interest.

You can visit my blog for a full supply list. Thanks so much for stopping by!
